VEHICLE COLLISION DAMAGE
Helping make your property safe again.
Even a relatively low-speed collision can cause extensive damage to a wall. Brickwork may be visibly broken, but adjoining sections, foundations, pillars and connected structures may also have been weakened.
Kody Construction assesses the affected area before recommending the appropriate repair. Depending on the damage, this may involve dismantling unsafe sections, recovering suitable materials, rebuilding brickwork or replacing the complete wall.
TYPICAL REPAIRS INCLUDE:
-
Collapsed garden walls
-
Damaged boundary walls
-
Cracked external brickwork
-
Vehicle-damaged entrance pillars
-
Walls connected to gates or railings
-
Damage to garages and outbuildings
-
Structural cracking following an impact
-
Removal and disposal of damaged materials
-
Partial or complete wall rebuilding
-
Repointing and finishing work
BRICK MATCHING AND REBUILDING
Repairs designed to work with the existing property.
Where practical, we will assess whether undamaged bricks can be safely cleaned and reused.
When replacement bricks are needed, we will look for the closest suitable match available. The final repair approach will depend on the age, condition, construction and availability of the original materials.
INSURANCE CLAIMS
Support for insurance repair work.
If the wall damage forms part of an insurance claim, we can inspect the damage and prepare a quotation for the required building work.
Once the repair scope has been agreed, we can complete the work professionally and keep you informed throughout the project.
Customers should contact their insurer before authorising permanent repairs where an insurance claim is being made.
